The mine ventilation is a basic measure of guaranteeing the safety in mine production and the workers' life security, but the present mine ventilation system is far from satisfying the actual demand compared with other countries, mine security situation is very severe in present. This thesis is on the basic of the weak point of the ventilating software at present, designing the software of ventilating based on component software. Software technology on component can save time maximally, and needn't totally rewrite the procedure every two years. When need to add some new functions, the component software has shown its outstanding advantage, it may insert promptly, so we can assemble software. Provide the mathematics model involving ventilation then use COM to develop the component, and set up the component storehouse. COM provides the method that has nothing to do with the language, and can make the application program more flexible, easier. This thesis is on the basis of finishing the component, it has also designed the detection system platform about coal mines, and the component of insertion can be dynamic. The platform can already expand the function on the premise of not changing whole frame of the system, and reflect the advantage of the component software. This thesis realizes ventilating component and the system with Visual Basic 6.0. For distributed calculation in the network, the components need to pack and release in network. This thesis utilizes Microsoft SOAP Toolkit 3.0 to issue ventilating components on Web, and then transfer the component function to test. Web Services offers the useful function to users through standard Web agreement actually, it has combined the advantage based on component designing and Web, so it form the foundation stone of contemporary programming mode. Web can make more persons transfer the component in case of not knowing the Content, it have promoted the development of the distributed computing technology based on Web. Web Services will become the inevitable trend in distributed calculation and enterprises application in future. Utilizing component to design ventilating software and issue at Web need to try further, this thesis has done helpful exploration.
