Our country coal resources are very abundance. Coal output and consumption occupy first place in the world, which occupying more than 85% in the internal primary energy produces and consumption. But coal self-ignition fire is very serious in our country, which has seriously restricted safe production and the development of coal mine,and it has caused waste of enormous resources, pollution of the environment, loss of personnel and property. From characteristic of goaf of close distance coal seams, account of cause and research level of coal self-ignition at present, and forecast model of coal spontaneous combustion and status quo of research of numerical analogue, this dissertation launch exposition closely round forecast model of goaf of close distance coal seams. Firstly, by making use of large experiment device of coal spontaneous combustion, experiment test property parameter of coal self-ignition, and provide basic data for setting–up of forcast model of close distance coal seams and it numerical analogue for ventilation leakage condition of goaf of close distance coal seams. Secondly, on-the-spot observe face of close distance coal seams, use on-the-spot observation data for data fitting, reach equations of Oxygen concentration of two flanks of face of close distance coal seams, equation of gap distribution of loose coal with ventilation leakage in goaf, equation of osmosis coefficient of different depth in goaf, influence function of Oxygen consumption with depth of goaf, equation of pressure distribution in goaf of intake airflow and return airflow on both sides of face, and mathematical model of transfusion and diffusion of goaf, and set up forecast model of goaf of close distance coal seams. Thirdly, setting up three-dimensional model and dividing grids for goaf of close distance coal seams by using fluid calculation software FLUENT, numerical analogying for ventilation leakage condition of goaf of close distance coal seams, and its results are identical on the whole with on-the-spot of reality. Finally, making use of numerical analogue results of goaf of close distance coal seams, analyse cause of self-ignition coal in goaf of 16# and 17# close distance coal seams for South-2 mining area in 2# coal mine of DONGRONG, guide for tackling work on-the-spot, and achieve results as good. By successful tackling for this self-ignite coal, goodly verificate validity of forecast model of goaf of close distance coal seams. This forecast model have certain significance of reference and lesson for coal mine with similar conditions.
