With the ever increasing energy needs, how to effective and rational utilization energy source, have already become a problem people stringency concerned .In the course of phase transformation because phase change materials (PCMs) have got a greet deal of energy storage and release, save energy, and approve actual effect of utilization. PCMs will be widely applied in the saving energy field including the building, solar energy, exhaust heat, exhaust cool, and so on.The conductive factor of inorganic solid-liquid PCMs is great, but also the kind of PCMs has many speciality, as little toxicity, no peculiar smell and cheap. But the super-cooling and liquid separated from the salt hydrate , which limits its progress and use, and, becomes "bottleneck problem" of its use.This article study mainly the two kind of inorganic solid-liquid PCMs- Glauber's salt and calcium chloride hexahydrate, discuss and analyse how to improve the problem of its age. Search for the means which account for the "bottleneck problem", and enhance its using, extend its age.Through appending the nucleating agent, suspend agent, adding-dense agent, dispersant, etc. the study solve the super-cooling and liquid separated from the salt hydrate matters. And through many times melting-freezing cycle experiment, the study determine crystal temperature, super-cooling degree and disintegration rate of the system. Then on basis of experimental research, the better additive that is filtered out, advance the age of PCMs.The experiment uses the new measure calculating the age of PCMs, namely, calculate the age's disintegration rate of PCMs. This means scale the age of PCMs through calculating the variety relatively of enthalpy of phase change. It makes up the measure error of DSC. This error is due to the sample which is chosen from the PCMs, is not from the same place every time.The study find the best quality scale of the additives, then use this system to experiment and data extrapolate with GM (1.1). Finally the age of this improving system is forecasted. The age of Glauber's salt system is 700 times; the age of calcium chloride hexahydrate system is 800 times.On basis of the experimental research, the study finds many specialty of sepiolite. The experiment proves it has better advance action about prolonging the age of PCMs.
