The set value computation system of the hydraulic pressure AGC system of 650mm versus cold rolling mill in some steel company is studied in this paper. based on lots of relative papers home and abroad, modern times rolling theoretical develop mechanism and research actuality as well as the trend of future development are summarized. Aimed at the rolling procedure's influence on precision, systemic study on model adaptation and self study theory are proceeded and it is carried out in practice. In this paper the main work is as follows: First of all, the compare and analysis among three representative rolling pressure models: Kalo, Bland-Ford and STONE are done, ultimately select STONE as the predictive model, it own defects and the factors which affect the rolling force error are systematically analyzed in detail, presenting theoretical basis for next modification. Combined traditional predictive model with adaptive self study technology, by setting up predictive model of controlled object, exponential smoothing method which is based on actual data is presented. It is the key point in chapter. In this method, through analyzing real data in the spot, the coefficients of mathematic model are not changed but revised, at the same time through many times self study on adaptive coefficients, material coefficients of hardness are improved. Using MCGS, a new real time supervisory system for the rolling mill is set up. Using model prediction, rolling force is computed and the real data are acquired. After revising smooth method, comparison between the new predictive model of rolling force and the original model is proceeded, it shows that the model precision is enhanced and it is able to deal with different steel type, revise material coefficients, forthcoming strip milling could direct call, by author's strict theoretical derivation and careful experiment. It confirms feasibility and validity. The project is brought through engineering applied angle set possess with strong theory value and application value.
