Synthetic perfume is an important part of perfume industry. Because its quality and price are steady and its production is not limited to climate ,environment and other area conditions,it has become one base material for blending and also an important product on which many big perfume companies compete intensively all over the world.At present ,vanillin compound has become one of the products which is used in the biggest quantity,but its price is more higher than other product.So many countries pay much attention to this kind of product.This article studies the synthesis process of the ethyl vanillin and the vanitrope and tests relative factors' influence on reaction.The article studied the synthesis process of ethyl vanillin.This paper synthesized ethyl vanillin via bromiding and ethoxylation . The optimum technical parameters were obtained as follows:bromating temperature is 15℃,solvent is methyl arcohol, bromating agent is BrCl,the molar ratio of 4-hydroxy-benzaldehyde to BrCl is 1:1.15,reaction time is 2.5 hours.Ethoxylation temperature is 125℃,the catalyst concentration is 0.020mol/L,the concentration of sodium ethylate is 3.5mol/L,the molar ratio of 3-bromine-4- hydroxy-benzaldehyde to sodium ethylate is 1:3.0. The purity of ethyl vanillin is over 99.0% and the yield can reach 85.2%.The technique is novel and applied, apt to industrial manufacture.The article also studied the synthesis of vanitrope.This process chose eugenol as the base material and the route includes isomerization and ethylation.The optimum technical parameters for synthesizing vanitrope as follows:when the eugenol is...
