The reservoir numerical simulation technique is a mathematic modelwhich is based on conservation of mass and law of Daxi to describe thehydrodynamic movement law. The mathematic model consists of a set ofPDEs and the corresponding condition. The PDE is nonlinear, and wecannot give its analysis solution. However we must provide the solution topredict the hydrodynamic movement law of the oil reservoir. On thiscondition, we introduce the numerical method. In general, there are a lot ofnumerical method to solve PDEs, such as the Finite Difference,theVariational Calculus, and the Finite Element Method, etc. Among thesemethods, the more mature is the Finite Difference. The development of thenumerical simulation technique of oil reservoir is correlative with thedevelopment of electronic computer. Along with the development ofelectronic computer, numerical simulation technique makes great progress.It elevates the whole level of reservoir exploitation.At present reservoir numerical simulation technique is matured in oilfield exploitation and manufacture. The processing tools are usuallynumerical simulation software introduced by foreign countries. Thefunctions of the software are powerful, but they are limited by license. Thevisualized work of simulation production is limited in workstation and onlysome professional can use simulation production, so the software cannot begeneral applied. Using OpenGL,VTK technique, we can build distributednumerical simulation to the graphics processing system of production,achieved visualized of the simulation graphics production, assist thereservoir exploitation and serve for the reservoir.There are five factors in distributed reservoir numerical simulationtechnique research:1. According to the numerical simulation models we have mastered,we study the numerical simulation technique, give mathematical analysis,make use of linear equation group to process the problem of level well, andsummarize the numerical simulation arithmetic,2. Build data transfer interface, transfer the result computed bycomputer cluster to data format that we need and VTK data format, and putthem as data source,3. Build production curve compared module, and realize the comparebetween the approximation curve and the original curve,4. Build 2-d data graphics protract module,5. Build 3-d data graphics protract module, provide function interfaceto user and display comprehensive character of reservoir from different pointof view and distributed trend.The system can contract with oil field production, realize visualized ofreservoir numerical simulation production, and resolve reservoir numericalsimulation production shared with the whole factory. The system can buildproduction curve from single well, transport centre, layer and section, andrealized the compare between approximation curve and the original curve.The system can build 2-d data graphics protract module, build 3-d datagraphics protract module, provide function interface to user and displaycomprehensive character of reservoir from different point of view anddistributed trend.In this paper we mainly describe reservoir exploitation character,...
