| NBR latex was hydrogenated by redox system consisting of hydrazine hydrate, hydrogen peroxide and boric acid. It was shown from the former study that hydrogen peroxide is the key substance leading to the crosslink of hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber(HNBR). The high resolving 13C-NMR, IR, Electron spin resonance (ESR) analysis and chemical method were used to study on the crosslink of gel formation of HNBR.The high resolving 13C-NMR, IR spectra of the gel fraction of hydrogenated product show that there are no signs of carbonyl group C=O formed by oxidation of hydrogen peroxide.Radical trapping agent thiourea and DPPH was added into reacting system, radicals were confirmed to be existing in the system by observing the color change.Radical trapping experiment using DMPO as spin trapper proves the existence of hydroxyl, superoxide anion radicals in the hydrogenation... |
