How to build models and actualize control of temperature distribution in tubular polymerization reaction by B-spline neural network are the main targets in this paper.The temperature distributions are important measurable parameters in tubular polymerization reaction. They reflect the reaction extend for tubular polymerization reaction. The temperature distribution relate closely with the quality of end product. So, there has important relationship between control of temperature distribution reaction and the product quality in tubular polymerization.This paper aims at the modeling of temperature distribution firstly. The modeling and controlling of distributed parameter systems are quite different from ones in normal system. The output and set point of distributed parameter systems are both distribution. The mathematic models of temperature distribution in tubular polymerization reaction have been developed utilizing B-spline neural networks in this paper.
