With the intensification of water pollution and eutrophication and the enhancement of public environment consciousness,, more and more strict discharge standard is required for nitrogen and phosphorous removal from wastewater. The SBR system can be designed with the ability to treat a wide range of influent volumes and quality. What's more,it can remove nitrogen and phosphor. SND makes low-cost and simple biologic nitrogen-removed technology available. In this paper, synthetic domestic wastewater was treated by nitrification and denitrification process using SBR systems. The effect of different SBR operational mode on the characteristics of Simultaneous Nitrification and Denitrification and its feasibility in engineering application. In addition, tentative research was carried out on the mechanisms of Simultaneous Nitrification and Denitrification. |
