cPP is selected as the matrix in this study, referring to the means and techniques of iPP modification. HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and mLLDPE, nano-TiO2 which included in latest new material areas were applied to modify the impact property of cPP. The crystallization, morphology, rheology and mechanical properties of the blends and composites are investigated in this work. 一,For cPP/PE blends system, the results indicates that: PE resins have some toughening effect on cPP. With 15 wt.% fraction in the matrix, the HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE can improve the notched impact strength 50%, 60%, 40% respectively, and the tensile strength declined in some degree. The melt of the blends were pseudo-plastic fluid, but the viscosity of the melt changed little with addition of PE resins in this work. The morphology of the matrix were greatly affected by the addition of PE resins, and addition of them results in the promptly decrease of the spherulites size and it's structural compactness. The microstructure results on SEM photographs were also showed on DSC thermographs. 二,Good toughening effect were showed on cPP/mLLPE blends, when the mass fraction of mLLPE in the matrix is added up to 15%, the notched impact strength increased 75% compared to virgin cPP, and the tensile strength remained about 85%. But the addition of mLLDPE did not affected the viscosity of the blends obviously. mLLDPE acted as nuclei while crystallizing and raised the crystallizing temperature of cPP. The POM result showed addition of mLLDPE results in the promptly decrease of the spherulites size and its structural compactness. The crystallization behavior and SEM photograph showed that cPP and mLLPE are partial miscibility, and the "sea—island"structure is formed in the matrix. 三,And the rheology and thermal property of cPP / nano-TiO2 composites were investigated in this work, the results showed that: The addition of nano-TiO2 increased the melt viscosity of the composites gradually, but the degree is limited, and the differences reduced with the increase of shear stress. The power law index decreased while more and more nano-TiO2 added in, at the same time the consistent index increased a little, but the heat flow energy declined and then ascended. The POM and SEM photographs showed the...
