The preparation, characterization, evaluation, modification of New kind of catalyst W-Mo-Ni-Cr/Al2O3 was studied in this article. Catalyst of W-Mo-Ni-Cr/Al2O3 was prepared by step impregnating. The influence of active component proportion, different calcining temperature and different calcining time on activity for pyridine HDN was investigated, and the catalytic actitivty, life was also evaluated. And XRD, TG/DTA, BET, TPD, TPR, IR have been employed to characterize the structure of the catalysts. The test of catalyst activity was carried out on pyridine. The experiment's results showed that the conversion of pyridine can reach to 89.0% under the experiment conditions such as the active component proportion: W:Mo:Ni:Cr=1:0.32:0.78:0.22, hydrogen partial pressure 1MPa, reaction temperature 180°C, reaction time 1h, Calcination temperature 500°C, Calcination time 5h, 1g catalyst, and the catalyst kept high catalytic activity with the increase of using time, and could up to 99.9 % .
