Recently, synthesis and research of the P-diketiminato ligand (III) and its metal complexes is an important branch in metal organic chemistry,which focuses people's huge instrests in the field. And P-diketiminates have an important role as spectator ligands, by virtue of their strong binding to metals, their tunable and extensive steric demands, and their diversity of bonding modes.Some novel P-diketiminato ligands and their metal [Cu(II), Ni(II)] complexes were synthesized by the P-diketi- minato,N,N-diethyl(ethyl-enediamine), aniline, 2,6-dimethylphenylamine> 2,6-diisopropyl aniline and characterized by Elemental analysis, NMR and Infrared spectra techniques. Experiment results show that all these complexes are four coordinated stoichiometry including five-membered heterocyclic rings.The geometries of the p-diketiminato ligand and its complex using Gaussian 98 Program were optimized in terms of the DFT method , a Local Spin Density Approximation Calculations, adopting 6—31G (d) and relevent SVWN5 function .Then the IR spectra were also calculated...
