Research And Application On Concept Modeling Of Hot Runner For Injection Mould Of Beverage Bottle Lid

Hot runner is a new technology which has urgent demand in manufacturing industry with which can brought less waste, shorter production cycle and better manufacturing precision. In order to shorten the design circle of hot runner and decrease the rework probability of test mold, it is important to develop the design software on Hot Runner CAD. In this dissertation, the author made a deep research on hot Runner system on the basis of a detail discussion and study of CACD technology and completed a CACD software system for hot runner design.In chapter 1, current development of injection mold and the application of hot runner were presented. Based on the analysis of existing problems on Hot Runner CAD technology, the research direction and the main frame of this dissertation were put forward.In chapter 2, the development status of conceptual design technology was introduced. The conceptual design and concept space of fuzzy and/or tree based on extended zigzag mapping was put forward. On the basis of this theory, concept space of hot runner product was established. The establishing process of conceptual design scheme set is represented according to the feature of fuzzy and/or tree model.In chapter 3, the process frame of hot runner CACD was put forward. The whole process from concept sketch to detailed hot runner aided conceptual design was presented including the creation of concept sketch, function decompose, creation and optimization of conceptual scheme set, design and realization of detail scheme.In chapter 4, the method of founding a 3D parametric standard part base for assemble in hot runner design was presented. The principle of the base was presented, and the detail process of building the base was illustrated. Combined the standard part with general part of hot runner, the hot runner part base was founded.In chapter 5, based on the platform of Pro/E and VC++, the hot runner aided conceptual design software system was completed in which the idea of conceptual design was implemented. The mechanism design of hot runner was realized. Finally, several design examples were given.
