| As a typical integration of mechanical electronic and optic technologies, laser engraving machine has great efficiency and high precision. It has been used widely in print, model making, billboard making etc. The control system of laser engraving machine based on 80c196kc uses master-slave control structure. It uses Intel 16 bits microcomputer 80c196kc as microprocessor. The control system uses the design of modularization, including the extended memory module, the data transfer module, the power supply of laser control module, and the man-machine conversation module etc. The author studies the method of extending the MSF, and designs a special circuit through which the CPU can read and write the extended memory. Also the author analyses the theory of slope engraving and brings forward dynamic control of the laser's power through fixing the frequency of control signal and adjusting it's pulse width. The control system uses serial and parallel communication mode between PC and microchip. The author researches the feasibility and application of the communication between LPT and 80c196kc, and designs a hardware circuit, as a result the efficiency of communication is improved greatly. The system has a nicer man-machine conversation interface, facilitating the manipulator's control. The machine can accomplish the mode of scanning, rout working, bitmap working, the printing of gray-degree picture and slope engraving mode etc. In practice the process of working is steady and reliable. |
