| Motor emissions have become one of the main source of air pollution with the increase of the number of the motor. It's urgent to develop a system for measuring motor emissions in order to protect the environment from pollution, and enhance the sustaining development of the economy. The system for measuring motor emissions is studied and developed with the combination of the technologies of machinery, automation, chemical analysis, fluid mechanics, and precision measurement. The main content of the dissertation involves: 5. A Constant Volume Sampling System (CVS) with super Critical Flow Venturi (CFV) flux meter is developed based on Bernouli fluid equation. Two CFV are applied along the main channel and the sampling one in the system to assure the fixed ratio of the volume of the analyzed sample to the volume of total diluted emission. 6. For the output in analog signal of the imported analysis instrument, the interface between the instrument and the PC is designed, as well as the data for data transmission and communication software, which constituting the whole PC-controlling analysis system. 7. The central controlling system is designed, including industrial PC, PLC, sensors and executing units. The TCP/IP protocol is applied for design of communication software between industrial PC and remote one. The data is transferred to industrial PC by network for process. 8. Anti-jamming method is taken to assure the stability and reliability of the system. And calibration is made for the whole system. The system of CVS is calibrated by Laminar Flow Elements (LFE), the whole system calibrated by Critical Flow Orifice (CFO) meter. The system for measuring motor emissions has been applied to industrial production, working stably, and performing well.
