Oxyenation desulfurizing catalyst TS-2, extractant EA-1 and acticarbon werefiltrated with the feedstock of AGO in the laboratory, which had good performance inexperimental condition, and met quality requirement of catalytic oxygenation of AGO.Oxidation catalyst could be regenerated easily, and the performance was stable afterregeneration. The concentrate of sulfur and the acidity of desulfurizing AGO met itsquality level which the concentration of sulfur is less than 300μg/g and the acidity isless than 5mgKOH/100ml. The yield of AGO is up to 97.8% at 70℃ by refining.On the basis of experimental study, the pilot plant with manufacturing capacity100L/h were setup. The process of the pilot plant contains four units: oxidation,regeneration of oxidation catalyst TS-2, extraction and recovery of extractant EA-1.AGO with the 2273μg/g of sulfur that came form Lanzhou Petrochian company wereused as feedstock. In the process of catalytic oxidation desulfuration, the sulfide ofAGO were catalytic oxidation with catalyst TS-2 at low temperature and normalpressure. The non-polar sulfide in AGO were transformed to polar sulfide byoxidation. Then polar sulfide was extracted from AGO with organic solvent. Byrefining, the concentration of sulfur decreased to 300μg/g, which meets quality levelof second AGO in Europe. The desulfuration rate of AGO is more than 90%, and theyield of refined AGO is about 97.23%.The reaction of catalytic oxidation and catalyst were organically combined in theprocess. The innovation of process is that catalyst can be recovered and reused. Theassorted-recirculated reactor effectively intensively mixes oil and solvent, therebyreaction time of desulfuration oxidation for AGO is reduced. The novel process ofdesulfuration with industrial perspective for AGO is developed. The novel processhas many advantages, for example, simple process, economic investment, lowreactive temperature, operation at normal pressure, operation easy and economicoperation cost.
