Research On The Technology Of Fire Detection Based On Image Processing

It is obvious that the fire did a lot of damage to human, so more and more people pay attention to the system which can detect fire much effectively and much reliably, the system should be founded by the technology of computer and image processing which is developing rapidly. In this paper, we propose and design a fire detection system based on image processing, at last, we do some experiments on the system and give the result of the experiments.In this paper, we describe the system on theory base, system design, and hardware implementation. It is an innovation that we using the CCD camera (there is an infrared filter in front of it) to collect infrared image, the wavelength of infrared filter is mainly depends on the spectroscopy theory. In software design, we discuss the model of the image, then we use the tool of Matlab to deal with the data which we have collected, in this process, we mainly according to the theory of single-band anddual-band. In hardware implementation, the installation of camera is the linchpin, especially the installation of cameras of dual-band is strict;In software design, we describe and analyze different tactics on single-band and dual-band. It is another innovation using dual-band in the system, in this tactics, the system can detect fire without the influence of distance and light, in this paper, we analyze this in the dual-band theory.Then we do lots of experiments on the system, it indicates that our system satisfies the need of our life, it is significant to the field of detecting fire nowadays, especially to the detection of large room.Finally, we summarize the whole system, then we point out the shortcomings of our system and prospect for the future work.
