This paper aims at studying the development trend in Polyurcthane-elastomer and nano materials, utilizing the excellent integration properties of Polyurethane-elastomer and inorganic particle-nanophase TiO2 to investigate the Polyurethane/TiO2 nanocomposite.In this paper, Polyurethane nanocomposite arc prepared from isocyanate-terminated prepolymer, which is synthesized from polytetrahydrofuran, toluene diisocyanate taking nanometer TiO2 processed with keying agent and aromatic diamine MOCA as cosslinking agent in the preparation The effects of different factors on mechanical properties, thermal stability and cavitation-erosion resistance of polyurethane nanocomposite are studied in this article. The status of nano-particle spreading around in the composite, morphology of abrasion surface and the mechanism of abrasion are analyzed by SEM technology.The use of nano-TiO2 increased the mechanical properties and thermal stability of pure Polyurethane, the curves of composite of mechanical properties and vicat soft temperature rose and then fell with the more quantity added to itNano-TiO2 didn't uniformity distract from basal body, but arises reunite or agglomerative phenomenon is more severity with the more quantity added to it Polyurethane/ TiQ2 nanocomposite has worse cavitation-erosion resistance. The cavitation-erosion resistance main mechanism are: plowed tiny cutting impact plasticity distortion and cataclasm desquamation of aggregation.
