Biological Aerated Filter Is Used In Treating Sewage Wastewater And Reuse Engineering Of Jigang

Treating sewage wastewater with new technology of Biological Aerated Filter (BAF) is extensively explored in accordance with the reuse of wastewater of JINAN iron and steel group.On account of the outcome will be used in afforesting new village, decorating landscape of BAOSHAN park and supplying circulate cooling water, the outcome of water must meet "the standard of reuse of recycling water", "the suggestion standard of water quality for the reuse of landscape of river bank", and "the suggestion standard of reuse water used in cooling water". The advantage and disadvantage of the BAF are discussed in the paper. On the basis of current situation of the technique applications in and out of the country and the characteristics of the wastewater, the BIOFOR technique was chosen for its economical and technological. Filtering material such as ceramicite, sands, zeolite and coke material were compared and ceramicite was chosen as the filtering material in the project. The grade and distribution of filtering material, the height of filter bed, filter rate and surface loading are compared intensively, and the reliable parameter on account of the test results are chosen. The back washing of filter was discussed by air washing, water washing and air-water washing, and it is regarded the air-water washing was most noticeable and the washing time and intensity was defined. On account of BAF is often used in second treatment of wastewater, the water regulator pond was set up after the grid, and after it is strengthen precipitation pond. BAF was divided into three degree that is CN filter pond, N filter pond and DN-P pond. In CN filter pond, SS and most of the COD, BOD was removed, whereas parts of NH4-N were removed. The main purpose of N filter is the further degradation of COD and BOD, thenitration of NH4-N and the removal of SS. The effect of DN-P filer is denitrification and the removal of P, and the coagulation pond was set up in front of the DN-P filer. The sludge coming from precipitation pond was concentrated and after pressure filtration, it is moved to land disposal.The selection of equipment, the allocation of power especially of air blower , wastewater pump, scraper and pressure filtration machine were compared and analyzed intensively, and the optimal equipment were chosen. On the basis of technological and economical analysis, two projects were compared and the optimal project was chosen.
