The characteristic of Beer fluid position inspection based on the machine vision is high velocity, high accuracy and intelligent automation. So it has become one of essential high tech equipment now on the high speed beer production line. But our country's research and application in machine vision are at the start stage, our country urgently needs people to fill this blank in order to develop large-scale beer production. Therefore this article has been thorough carried on the production line fluid position inspection.This system includes three parts based on the machine vision beer fluid position examination system: Image gathering, image processing, result demonstration. In order to enhance the image gathering speed this system use OV7620, which might achieve 60/Second. Moreover this chip may output digital image signal directly, therefore the system dose not need to carry on the video frequency decoding. The image processing part is taken by TMS320VC5402.The image which comes from image sensor is stored in expanded memory, then the image is processed by the recognition algorithm. The result displayed in LCD model. The work includes: (1) In order to gather good image, designs lamp-house reasonably. (2) Has established hardware system based on TMS320VC5402 according the high speed of production line. (3) The image gathering speed is enhanced by using the OV7620 digital image sensor which can omit openning window part. (4) I2C is simulated by DSP'host interface to ensure the image sensor communication DSP. (5) beer the fluid position altitude is demonstrated LCD module. (6)Acording to the characteristic of image, a new edge inspect arithmetic is proposed based on classical arithmetic.This article summarized the development and the application of machine vision technology at present situation, introduced importance of the fluid position inspect system on the automatic production line, analyzed characteristic and the difficulty of fluid position inspect on the automatic production line, designed examination system based on the DSP, proposed algorithm in view of the fluid position characteristic, carried on the system debugging.
