As the development of the oil industry, its incidental products —plastic has went into human's lives step by step , especially after that the studies and improvement has been done to their performance, plastic products has become an indispensable tool in human's lives. In industry, plastic which has taken place many expensive and rare metal material even has a wide use. So now almost every field of industry and human's lives has been full of the plastic products whose property has been improved. As the increase of the demand of the plastic products, its designing and manufacturing demand has been high, also every advanced technology in designing and manufacturing such as CIMS, IMS , IP and so on has been a trend of the markets'development. Usually, on the process of the research and development of a new kind of product, designing accounts for 70 percent of the its circle,and manufacturing 30%, so reducing the time of the designing circle and improving the designing efficiency will decide whether a enterprise be able to play a leading role in the market. This passage has made a deep studies to the main technique which realizes the automatic designing of the mould, and put forward the study method of the CAD resource system of injection mould.This passage has made detailed analysis and introduction to the present condition development trend and accomplishment both at home and abroad on the CAD/CAE, also has done a father studies to the methods and measures which has been before used by the second research of the PRO/E. It takes the fittest way according to the different module of the parameter building-storehouse technology based on the characteristic plastic mold, and through a interface which built by the software to realize the joint and the information exchange between the module. The system has taken Visual C++ and Visual basic two kind of editor ,and contain two different kind of mode which are synchronization and asynchronism.It has done many jobs on the design, manufacturing and connection of the module, so it has made each module of the CAD resource system of injection mould.By comparing different methods for establishing injection mould parameter case, we conclude the pros and cons of these method. From the viewpoint of software development, we illustrates the advantage of using different methods to develop different parts and thoroughly discuss the procedure of part development, function used and environment setting.To clearly illustrates the methods for development different parts, this paper is arranged by the order of parts, including environment setting, the communication between parts and calling methods in different mode. To better understand and use this system, A help file is provided. It visually record the process of operating this system. Secrecy is also of great importance, the software adopt different ways of secrecy, which can better protect the rights of software developer.In the end, two case studies are given to demonstrate the operation of the system, accordingly testify the feasibility and usefulness of injection mould CAD system.
