Transformer is one of the most important equipment of electric power system. The component, content and gas production rate of the dissolved gases in the transformer oil can reflect the insulation aging or the fault degree of the transformer. Now the analysis of gases dissolved in oil is one of the most effective and popular methods. Since the on-line detection has more advantageousness than the off-line manpower detection. In this paper, extracting gases technology, detecting gases technology and data acquiring and controlling technology.of the on-line detection system for gases dissolved in oil are studied.(1)The infiltrate property of the several kinds of membranes is studied by examinating to find out the most suitable for on-line detection. As the same time, on-line extracting gases device is designed, where hollow fiber membrane is placed. The device can improve extracting gases efficiency. All of them set a good foundation for applying on-line detecting gases dissolved in oil to electrical power systems.(2)The feasible methods of on-line detecting gases dissolved in oil are analyzed and studied. The technology of sensor array and the method of BP model identification is presented, that can enhance the detecting accuracy and reduce the requirement of selectivity and time stability. To a great extend the method lessens the mutual interferer and offers a new approach for the on-line detecting gases dissolved in oil.(3)A principal-subordinate control system for on-line monitoring is designed and correlatively soft is completed.
