TSRFCC—Two—Stage Riser Fluid Catalytic Cracking isthe patent technology of EastChina Petroleum University.Anew Reaction-Regeneration System Flow of two pathwaysrecycle was built by adopting Two—Stage Riser Reactor as thesubstitute of former single riser reactor. The new technologyavoided the shortage of former one and has the followadvantages: Catalyst Relay, Reaction in stages, short reactiontime and higher S/O ratio. Its key technology is the catalystrelay i.e. new regeneration catalyst changed in short time ,andreaction in stages i.e. fresh stocks and recycle stream enterinto different riser reactors separately. Thus the productsquality and distribution can be improved by the better catalystactivity and selectivity. The parameters in tow stage riserreactor such as temperature, time and S/O ratio can beadjusted separately. We can make different production planaccording to the market demand.Designed by East China Designing Institute, two stageriser technology is adopted in the FCC unit by JinxiPetroChemical Branch Company. After modification , we got asuccessful start up on Nov. 4, 2003. The process capacity, lightoil and diesel oil yields get improved. The olefin content alsodecreased obviously in gasoline product.
