The information revolution caused humanity's society a deep transformation. In the information society, the increasing digital media takes unprecedented advantage to people, but at the same time, brings many challenges also . How to protect the intellectual property rights of is outstandingly important. Encryption and digital signature already could not solve this question validly. A new technical -- digital watermarking arises at the historic moment, the numerous scholar has poured into the massive research enthusiasm to the digital watermarking, and they has achieved a lot of production.Based on analysing the characteristics and demand of the information hiding technology, this article propose a kind of images digital watermarking algorithm based on the wavelet domain transformation.This article take the images digital watermarking technology based on visual model as main research content. This article does research on human vision model, then discussed the images digital watermarking algorithm based on in the visual model thoroughly, and comparing the existing visual model images digital watermarking technology superiority as well as their limitation and deficiency, proposed a kind of auto-adapted images digital watermark based on the separate wavelet transformation. This algorithm mainly bases on the human visual notice, rests on the center of inserting the watermark in "the images characteristic area" conformed to that "the watermarking information have fully to use the important sensation characteristic of images", extracts the reasonable area to insert the watermarking, and guarantees the watermarking based on the human visual system (HVS) robustness and the image visual quality. Finally this article confirmed the algorithm through the experimental method to have the strong robustness and the watermarking could not affect the image visual quality, and could validly carry on the watermarking extracting in the examination of watermarking.This article introduce the digital watermarking technology application, the classification and the research present situation firstly, elaborate the basic principle based on the digital images media, analyze the basic characters , designrequirement , appraisal method , watermark attack and counter measure of digital watermarking technology in each kind of application. This article is Closely about the images digital watermarking examination , robustness and the invisibility, make the further analysis to this watermarking system security and the watermarking examination, the experimental result indicate that this watermarking algorithm is reasonable, valid, and could be tolerant of the JPEG compression, the geometry attack and the image enhancement. The result indicate that the watermarking algorithm have a high robustness. The research belongs to the main field of the research of present digital watermarking.
