Up to now, the soil solidifying technique has become a combined and crossingsubject including mechanics, structure theory, colloid chemistry, and been used inbasic facilities, road construction, dams and sand solidification. In China, studies onthe soil stabilizer didn't start until 1990s, the soil stabilizer's research, producing andapplication are a complex project. All the stabilizers have their own shortcomings, 7dcompressive strength, property of resisting to water and rebounding modulus ofsolidified soil are all neck of its development, and the defect of soil stabilizer is aweakness when it is used to solidify the soil in the road base. So for the scholars developingeconomical and superior soil stabilizer is an important subject which studies should begranted to.This research mostly makes use of industrial waste such as fly ash, slag, addingthe auxiliaries like silicate cement, alkali, sodium silicate, to develop soil stabilizerwhich is high compressive and resisting to water in the standard of road construction. This research has developed three satisfied soil stabilizers: When the fly ash soilstabilizer is added by 8 percent into the solidified soil, its compressive strength after 7days can reach 4MPa. When the slag soil stabilizer is added by 6 percent into thesolidified soil, its compressive strength after 7 days can reach 4.54MPa. For highaluminum cement soil stabilizer, the solidified soil's compressive strength can reach4.22MPa. And three stabilizer's cost performance is satisfied. This research probes deep into the solidifying mechanism. Soil stabilizer makesthe free water in the soil fixed as crystal water, which decreases amount of water. Thevolume of solidified soil expands, and the crystals form a net by interweaving into thegap of soil grains, which makes soil grains closer, a gel around the soil grains coheres, and it strengthens the connection between the soil grain, so it ensures the stability andclose of the soil. Silicates and its hydrates instinct in the soil's framework, whichmakes it closer. Besides, ion-exchange affection which deals with the water in the soilis also helpful for soil solidification.
