Owing to its unique merits as corrosion prevention, clean, insulation and high cost performance, glass-lined stirred autoclaves are applied to chemical reaction equipments provided with the condition of strong corrosion extensively just now. For multiplicity and variability of reaction processes, domestic traditional glass-lined agitators can't satisfy the technics requirement at the present day, a new type agitator called large-double-blade impeller was brought forward. The thesis analyzed and compared the impellers which included the new one and the domestic four glass-lind agitators, and carried out experiment research and numerical simulation.It has been carried on experiment research to five kinds of impeller at the stirred tank 375 mm in diameter, and has been investigated on power consumption, mixing time, mixing efficiency number and taken into account the influence of factors such as viscosity, rotational speed, etc. The experiment shows: Considering mixing power and mixing efficiency synthetically, the large-double-blade impeller that author get out has the minimum mixing efficiency number Ce and the best mixing characteristic.The inside field of the stirred autoclave was imitated with CFD software. Through numerical simulation, combined with result of experiment research, five kinds of impellers were compared at flow field and velocity field, and according to the flow field and velocity field, the simulation result indicated that the large-double-blade impeller held the best mixing performance.
