| In this paper, the forming process and microstructure and mechanical properties of super narrow stainless steel strip by flattening rolling of 2Cr13, 3Cr13 and 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel wire was studied. The experimental width calculation formula of narrow stainless steel strip was regressed and put forward on the basis by analyzing the lots of experimental data. The factors that influence the width of the super narrow strip was deeply analyzed, as well as the approach of accurately controlling the width in the flattening rolling proceeding was discussed.The microstructure and mechanical properties of martensite and austenite stainless steel wire after flattening rolling by great plastic deformation was analyzed and compared. The quenching and high temperature temper technology of strengthening martensite stainless steel narrow strip was studied, as well as the effect of cold deformation on austenite stainless steel microstructure and mechanical properties strengthening tendency was studied. In addition, the surface passivity treatment of super narrow martensite stainless steel strip was discussed. The conclusion of the experiments can be drawn as the following:(1) High quality super narrow stainless steel strip can be obtained by the flattening rolling process of stainless steel wire.(2) The first pass width of stainless steel wire flattening rolling can be calculated by E.Sibel formula which was regressed in this paper.(3) The high-precision width that gained in the proceeding of the flattening rolling can be accurately realized by adjusting and controlling the rolling parameters such as rolling pass, reduction of per pass, friction factors and so on.(4) The tempering sorbite which not only made the martensite stainless steel microstructure uniformity and crystal grain refinement, but also improved theintegrative mechanical properties of narrow strip was observed in martensite super narrow strip after quenching and high temperature temper treatment. In this experiment, the fiber microstructure forming by great cold deformation which prominently double the tensile strength of stainless steel strip was observed in austenite stainless steel strip.(5) The corrosion resisting property of 2Crl3 and 3Crl3 super narrow stainless steel strip can be improved by surface passivity treatment which can availability prevent surface corrosion. |
