Injection molding is one of the important methods for polymer processing. In past, most attention has been placed on improving the quality of injection molded parts. Two areas have received most of this attention. One is the implementation of sophisticated controls to injection molding machines. The second is the improvement and development of quasi-three dimensional computer simulations for the injection of molten polymer into the mold. One aspect that has not received a thorough investigation is the processing of the polymer between injection and the non-return valve. To the question, in this paper isothermal flow analysis of non-Newtonian fluid in channel of non-return valve is concerned, use software of Solidworks and Gambit to build an geometric model and finite element model, then three-dimensional flow simulations of the non-return valve in injection molding machine are performed with a finite volume package, FLUENT. The distributing of velocity, pressure, the cutting rate and viscosity is received. We also study the relation between the parameter of...
