| The complexes of carboxylic acids and silicotungstic acid have been exhibited potential application in wide field such as catalysis, biology, materials science, pharmaceutical chemistry and electronicsis and so on. The synthesis and structure of these complexes are attract peoples most interesting all the way.Six novel coppe(rII)complexes were synthesized in this paper by the reaction of the copper(II)with terephthalic acid, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid 4-Methylbenzoic acid ,α-furoic acid silicotungstic acid and 1.10-phenanthroline monohydrate, 2,2'-bipy or 4,4'- bipy in suitable solvents respectively, and characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectrum analysis, then were determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The electrochemical properties of the five complexes were evaluated. The main results are as follows:1.The four copper(II)complexes [Cu(PTA)(phen)2]·(PTA)·(H2O)4, [Cu(phen) 3]·(ClO4)2, Cu2(α-furoic acid)4(H2O)4 and [Cu2(phen)2](SiW12O40)(H2O) were synthesized with meansor solvothermal reactor: the two copper(II) complexes{Cu[C6H5(OH)COO]2(H2O)3}(H2O)3 and Cu(CH3C6H4COOH)2(2,2'- bipy)·(H2O) were synthesized with hydrothermal synthesis reactor.2. The different type structures of the six complexes have been characterized by X-ray single diffraction, complexes [Cu(PTA)(phen)2]·(PTA)(H2O)4 and Cu2 (α-Furoic acid)4(H2O)4 belong to the monoclinic system, space group: C 2/c. In the crystal structure, the central copper ion is coordinated with five atoms, and they form distorted square-pyramid geometry. Complexes Cu[C6H5(OH)COO]2 (H2O)3 and Cu(CH3C6H4COOH)2(2,2'-bipy)(H2O) falls into the triclinic system, space group: P1. The crystal structure shows that the copper ion is coordinated with five atoms. The fromer complex forms distorted trigonal-bipyramid coordination geometry and the later complex form a distorted square-pyramid configuration. Complex [Cu(phen)3]·(ClO4)2 pertains to the monoclinic system, space group :C 2/c. The crystal structure shows that the copper ion is coordinated with six atoms, forming distorted octahedral coordination geometry. [Cu2(phen)2](SiW12O40)(H2O)7 belong to triclinic system, space group: P1,the binuclear copper(II)complex is synthesized. It consists of four sets of three-metal subgroups (W3O13), which around heteroatom (Si) forming tetrahedral cage structure.3.
