Lubricanting oil is widely used in many kinds of machines, equipments and apparatus as lubricant. The quality of lubricanting oil depends on the level of additive and materials. Excellent load capability and antioxidation capability of lubricanting oil are required in the modern industry equipments and engines, sulfur-containing Lubricanting oil additive exhibit many specific characteristics such as antioxidation, extreme pressure, anticorrosive, etc.A series of sulfur-containing EP additive have been respectively synthesized by sulfurated seed oil or ester. The factors such as temperature, time, catalyst and post treatment conditions are studied, and we have been characterized by means of many analytical methods. Experiments of friction and wear have been carried out to investigate the tribological properties of sulfur-containing EP additive in oil.Sulfurated seed oil and methyl seed oil have been synthesized with a method of elemental sulfur sulfuration. The best preparation conditions of corrosiveness to copper have been selected through the orthogonal test. The materials react at 175°C for 6h by CatA catalysis to prepare sulfurated products, then blow N2 at 150°C for 1h and filtrate at 85°C. The corrosiveness to copper are respectively la and 1b in pure sulfurated product and 5%(wt) sulfurated product in the 250SN oil. Add 5%(wt) sulfurated product in the 250SN oil, the WSD reduced 53%. If add 8% sulrated product, the Pb value will increase 96%.Sulfurated neopentyl glycol oleate have been synthesized with a method of elemental sulfur sulfuration. The best preparation conditions of corrosiveness to copper have been selected through the test. The materials react at 200°C for 6h by CatA catalysis, and then react at 210°C for 3h, and then blow N2 at 150°C for lh and filtrate at 85°C, and gain the sulfurated product. The corrosiveness to copper are respectively la and lb in pure sulfurated product and 5%(wt) sulfurated product in the 250SN oil. The molecular structure have been characterized by means of infrared...
