4-nitrophenyl phenyl ether (I) was synthesized from p-chloronitro benzene and phenol in the presence of NaOH, DMSO and toluene. Then 4-nitrophenyl phenyl ether (I) was reduced to produce 4-phenoxyaniline (II) using Fe as reducer. II were reacted with terephthaloyl chlorid (TPC) or isophthaloyl chlorid (IPC). Aromatic poly (ether ketone ketone ether amide)s have been synthesised by Friede-Crafts copolycondensation of Terephthaloyl (4,4'-diphenoxy) dianiline amide with TPC or IPC in the presence of anhydrous aluminum chloride. The structure and properties of copolymers were investigated by IR, DSC, WADX, TG etc. It is shown that Tm and Tg of the copolymers increase because of amide's chain fragments of main chains, but Tm and Tg decrease because of meta phenyl groups.Containing pendant carboxyl group poly (aryl ether sulfone ether ketone ketone ) (PESEKK-A)was prepared by low temperature solution polycondensation of 4,4'-diphenoxy diphenysufone (DPODPS) and trimellitic anhydride acid chloride (TMAC) in 1,2-dichloroethane, in the presence of anhydrous aluminium chloride and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP) . FT-IR, ~1H-NMR, DSC techniques were used to study the structure and properties of the polymers. The solubility, acid value of the copolymers and the correlation between molar ratio of DPODPS/TMAC, the amount of NMP and the inherent viscosity were investigated.
