The aerobic compost technology at high temperature makes sewage sludge fermented with oxygen bacterium and oxygen. It was an important approach to change solid organic waste into organic fertilizer of high-quality innoxiously and resourcefully. The change can not only solve environmental problem caused by sewage sludge, but it is of great importance to develop organic fertilizer, preserve and improve soil fertility as well as enhance agriculture sustainably. At present, traditional compost process suffered longer time which is usually around 60 days. Meanwhile, nitrogen loss which is the uppermost part to compose effluvium was more serious which can reach normally 30% 50%. Thus it is of great significance to shorten time for compost, increase ferment speed, reduce nitrogen loss and nutrient value of organic fertilizer. In this paper, three kinds of natural wastes as rice straw, leaves and carbon dust as well as sewage sludge were used as major raw material to study the man-turnover compost with different material combination as sewage sludge + rice straw + carbon dust (6:1:1). sewage sludge + rice straw (2:1). sewage sludge + rice straw+leaves (5:1.3:0.5) and sewage sludge+carbon dust (4:1) . The results showed. It turned to maturity period after 39-day compost while complete maturity period arrived after50 days; In the process of compost. TN and organic matters dropped constantly while NO3--N and electrical conductivity increased continuously; There was a raise and a succedent drop for NH4+-N and hydrosoluble organic carbon in the process while there was a drop and a succedent raise for temperature, pH and GI; Nitrogen loss caused mainly by volatilization of NH3 from NH4+-N was respectively 32%, 34%, 31% and 27%. There was a faster speed of ferment, longer high-temperature period and a higher nitrogen loss in compost with sludge, carben dust and rice straw as fillings while there was a slower speed of ferment, shorter high-temperature period and lower nitrogen loss with carben dust as filling only.On the basis of research on bulking agents of fillings in process of sludge compost, material combination I (the swage sludge + rice straw + Carbon) which possessed a faster ferment speed and...
