Research On Properties Of Silk Fibroin/Poly (Lactic Acid) Blend Fibers

The biodegradable materials have good biological compatibility and biological security, they can meet many kinds of biomedical function needs. Nowadays the focus on medical science of biodegradable materials has already developed from sewing, fixing materials to scaffolds of tissue engineering .Silk fibroin(SF) is a kind of natural polymer materials. it has good biological affinity, no toxicity to the organism , no stimulating quality ,it has already been used in seaming of the surgery, food additive and cosmetics. researchers point out that it would have been applied to the artificial skin ,contact lenses, anticoagulant material, dialysis membrane and cell culture scaffolds.Poly(lactic acid, PLA) is new biodegradable high polymer material of taking the lactic acid of monomer by chemical synthesis, with no toxicity, no stimulating quality and good biological compatibility, and not polluting the environment. PLA will be widespreadly used in tissue engineering, obtain the satisfying result in the bone tissue regeneration, the artificial skin, the peripheral nerve and so on.
