| Heavy medium separation is the most efficient method at present in the coal preparation. H.M. Cyclones are a variety of the coal cleaning equipment which has been widely applied to the heavy medium separation. The study which is in theory of the H.M. Cyclones is the need of the cyclone market and one of the major trend in H.M.Cyclone development.Firstly, the flow structure in H.M.Cyclones was ananlyzed and the velocity and pressure field was ananlyzed by theoretical analysis.Secondly, the study of the Numerical simulation in the H.M Cyclones has been simulated in the Fluent which is a commercial CFD applications. The velocity and pressure field was obtained by the applications. The cleaning effect and the energy consumption was ananlyzed by theoretical analysis. The data has been compare for test data of the Jinyang plant. The cleaning effect of H.M. Cyclones of double entrances of entering iron ore is so good comparing with the cleaning effect of ordinary H.M.Cyclones. The energy consumption of H.M.Cyclones of double entrances of entering iron ore is low comparing with the cleaning effect of ordinary H.M.Cyclones.Lastly, by the numerical simulation, the parts of cyclones that play a role in the mineral separation are studied. At the same time the spreaded law of pressure and velocity is described in all. It can concluded that H.M.Cyclones of double entrances of entering iron ore can save the energy consumption. |
