With the quick development of the industry of clothing in China, the market of the sewing machine flourishes again. Not only the demand of quantity increases, but also the demand of the quality increases. So the research of the numerical control technology for sewing machine, not only has actual value, but also makes some contributions for the national science.Controller is one of the keys that affect the performance of the sewing machine. To a certain extent, it affects the development of the sewing machine. It is a good idea to choose a single chip LF2407 DSP as the controller for the micro-robot because of its high speed, high performance, low power consumption, high integration, and its support for multi-motor control.Interpolation is one of the keys that affect the performance of the sewing machine. It is the basic characteristic of numerical control system of the sewing machine, and it directly affects the performance of numerical control system of the sewing machine. So the right choice for the interpolation algorithm is very important.Firstly, this paper introduces the conception and the principle of the two interpolation algorithm, which are called impulse increment interpolation and digit increment interpolation. Then this paper introduces the conception and matrix representation of the two-dimensional coordinate conversion, and also introduces the two way of the two-dimensional coordinate conversion. These make preparation for the interpolation software algorithm. Secondly, this paper introduces the overall structure of the hardware design. The circuits that drive motors, voltage regulator circuits and communicate with the upper machine are designed.
