The thesis mainly deals with the research and development of numerical control V-belt cutter. The frame structure of the system was outlined based on the analysis of the error and the technology of V-belt cutting. Moreover, the principle design theory was introduced and some key technologies that were applied in the system were also involved. On one hand, the development of v-belt cutter helped China to have the v-belt cutter with our own IPR, and will do great benefit to the development of v-belt industry. The whole content included six chapters and two addenda.In Chapter one, the history and current condition of v-belt cutting machine were introduced, and the factors that influenced the development of the v-belt industry were also pointed out. The trend of V-belt cutting technology was briefly narrated. In order to resolve the question that equipment was out of date, the object of this thesis was outlined and its contents for each chapter was arranged as well.In Chapter two, According to the object of the design, different methods to realize the function needed during each stage of V-belt cutting were discussed. And the application of two shafts to stretch the v-belt bucket, the application of screw shaft and nut to transmit and application of PLC as the main controller were selected. A general blue print was also proposed.In Chapter three, the error during the v-belt cutting course was analyzed and the result was achieved by using MATLAB. According to this, the assembly method of the tools platform and the relative position between the spindle and the rotary knife were decided. It was also involved on how to realize the other mechanical function.In Chapter four, the electrical control system was designed specifically. The key technologies were also pointed out including the control of step motor and the control of the spindle with frequency conversion technology.In Chapter five, based on the principle of ergonomics, the application of touch panel in the control system was introduced.In the last Chapter, the work of this thesis was summarized and the further work...
