There occurred frequently the accident of marine spilled oil and a great deal of oil-effluent drained into the ocean with the rapid development of petroleum chemical industry, the marine traffic transportation and the exploitation of marine petroleum, so hydrocarbons has been mainly the one of pollutants in the coastal ocean. When occurred marine spilled oil, a little of aqueous oil and emulsified oil was put into water, however, the mass of oil pollutants floating the upper water has been adhered to the surface of beach on the effect of wave and tide, which penetration and diffusion into sands on the effect of seawater and precipitation might make the whole beach be polluted. Meanwhile, oil pollutants released slowly into seawater on the hydrodynamic effect, which made the coast endangered for ages. So study on the process to adsorption and desorption of oil contaminants in sands will provide gist for effective oil contamination remediation and control coast oil pollution. The adsorption and desorption of hydrocarbons in sand-water system is studied systemically in this paper. First, the dynamic curves of adsorption and adsorptive isotherms of aqueous oil on different sands have been measured and the sand contents, the sand sizes, temperature, pH and salinity on the adsorptive effect have been analyzed by the batch test. The released curve of sands polluted by oil has been ascertained and the sand contents, temperature, pH and salinity on the released effect have been analyzed, and adsorptive mechanism was discussed. Second, through the column test, the surface oil polluted sands on the effect of under sands and groundwater, the distribution of oil concentration in intermittent water and the distribution of aqueous oil in the different elevation on the effect of tide has been studied, the released curve of aqueous oil has been measured, oil released amounts under the effect of tide and different wave height in the whole period or in single period has been analyzed. Finally, the adsorption and desorption of hydrocarbons in sand-water system is studied, meanwhile, adsorptive and released dynamic curve of aqueous oil has been measured, the distribution of aqueous oil in the sand of level and elevation was studied, and the adsorptive and released law on the effect of low wave and high wave have been analyzed. On the basis of sites of investigation and tests, the major conclusions presented in this paper can be summarized as follows:(1)The batch test shows that the adsorption of aqueous oil on sands belongs to physical adsorption and are logarithmic dynamic curve, the equilibrium period of the adsorption is about 10 hours, the adsorption of aqueous oil on sands is released heat, the contrast is also right. The adsorption isotherms of aqueous oil on sands are straight and belong to Henry adsorptive...
