LongKou Beizao coal mine is the first mine which can excavate coal under the sea in our country. The sea area coal measure strata in Beizao coal mine is soft and cracked and the deformation of roadway is difficult to be controlled. This paper analyse deformation rule and stress field distributing rule of sea area soft roadway, through indoor experiment, local data observation and numbered analogue. The research result have important reference value to the settling the support problem of sea area roadway.This paper mainly carry through three observation research work: The first, through the indoor experiment, test complete stress-strain curves under uniaxial compression of the Beizao coal mine, carry on the rock triaxial compression test, and test the rock water physics nature, mineral component and microstructure. The second, through the local the mineral pressure observation, acquiring a great deal of the measure result actually of adjacent rock of roadway, to analyse the result, generalize the characteristics of roadway deformation, and get the deformation rule of roadway. The third, ground stress of Beizao mine sea area is measured by using hollow inclusion, for the well lane cross section appearance excellent turn, directions of reasonable the choice and tunnel paid to protect etc. At the last, recording to Beizao mine -350m substation and pump chamber, the high geo-stress nonuniform soft rock stress and displacement distribution in wall rock when opening and with different support is researched by using FEM.
