| Conjugated conductive polymeric materials have attracted much interest all over the world beacause their easily manufacturing and semiconductor properties of inorganic materials. Use them in solar cells to fabricating large scale and cheap PV devices are encouraging. In this dissertation, the development of polymer solar cells materials and their devices was reviewed, especially for Poly(phenylene vinylene) and bulk heterojunction devices.A single layer organic solar cell with blends of a PSPY12 and titanium isopropoxide, sandwiched between two electrodes, had been fabricated and measured. The fill factor of the solar cell was 0.3718 and had a power conversion efficiency of 7.88×10-6 % when illuminated with white light at AM=1.5. The open circuit voltage, the short circuit current of the single device was 23 mV and 0.002 mA respectively.With the device structure of ITO/CT-MEH-PPV(100 nm)/C60(35 nm)/Al (70 nm) ,Under illuminated with white light at AM=1.5 , the fill factor of the solar cell was 0.36 and had a power conversion efficiency of 0.3 %, The open circuit voltage, the short circuit current was 489 mV and 1.63 mA respectively. |
