Development Zone and Science & Technical New Town, etc. all belong to a city, however, there are certain differences between them with a real city. Ever-developing Landscape ecology has offered a newroute------ Landscape Ecology Planning for people to solve the problem of the urbandesign and regional planning. Wuhan Science & Technical New Town lies in the east of Wuhan city, with superior geographical position and good growth momentum, whose future development has important strategic meanings in Wuhan city and even Hubei province. Therefore, to moderately and timely develop and utilize this area, aiming at the current situation of Wuhan Science & Technical New Town, on the premise of protecting urban natural resources and ecosystem, has a very important influence.In this paper, the writer optimized the landcape pattern of the study area with the principle of ecological infrastructure, through protecting its ecological infrastructure, so as to realizes the development of the Science & Technical New Town at a small cost, to meet the area requirement of the human activity, and to protect the ecological function and landcape pattern of the study area to the best degree. Through the field investigation, the collect of basic relevant information, and the statistical analysis of basic data , the writer analyzed the landscape security pattern of Wuhan Science & Technical New Town, using the principle and method of Landscape ecology, scenery garden and urban planning, based on this, also discussed the development model of the Science & Technical New Town.
