The main aim of this paper is to develop novel organic-inorganic molecular-based hybrid materials with improved luminescent properties which can be used as high performance luminescent materials. In this paper, the study concentrates on the syntheses of organic-inorganic molecular-based hybrid material with the two components equipped with covalent bonds. The organic components (aromatic acids or heterocyclic acids) which can sensitize rare earth ions fluorescence were modified by coupling agents and then the organic monomers with double reactivity were obtained. The modified functional ligand further behaves as a bridge both coordinates to rare earth ion and occurs a in-situ sol-gel process with matrix precursor (tetraethoxysilane, TEOS), resulting a novel molecular hybrid material. By this means, the 4-tert-butylbenzoic acid hybrid system, EPDA-APMS-Tb hybrid system, OTA-APMS-Tb hybrid system, TMA-APMS-Tb hybrid system, and BIMA-APMS-Tb hybrid system were obtained through modified carboxyl and HNIC-TEPIC-Tb hybrid system was obtained through modified hydroxyl. The experiment results show that there exists a strong chemical bond between the inorganic phase and the organic phase, no evident interface in the final materials was found. The final materials exhibit excellent luminescent properties and these molecular hybrids form single phase to get good physical properties. Sol-gel technology is the one of the most versatile methods for the preparation of inorganic-organic hybrid materials for its low processing temperature and the preparation of hybrid system through this method exhibit innovation of this study. In order to develop the preparation technology of organic-rare earth hybrid materials, expand the application areas of inorganic-organic luminescence hybrid materials, the PET-Tb,Eu hybrid system were in-situ through low temperature solution polycondensation. The 3-Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MSMA) was coordinated with Tb3+ and 1,10-phenthroline (Phen) was cooperative coordination for sensitized fluorescence, then MA was added to polymerize with...
