The heavy metal wastewater pollution has became the cosmopolitan hazard.In order to get rid of metal ions from wastewater effectually,some chemical techniques are used widely in the world by people nowadays.For instance,Chemistry Subsidence,Ionic Exchange and Adsorption etc.In recent years,the researches of some specific ion polymer compounds which have the special selectivity and the strong chelating ability are getting hotter and hotter.Because of its molecular structure include the amido,hydroxyl which can be linked with transition metal ions then have the greatly strengthened chelating ability,chitosan is extensively used for recovering the precious metal and processing industrial wastewater.In this article,a kind of new modified chitosan absorbent was synthesized with chitosan(CTS),acrylamide(AM) and methacryloyloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(DMC) as raw materials.The condition and the influence factor of synthesizing the absorbent were discussed.The structure of the absorbent was analyzed.When cation modification was being done,the product was confirmed by FTIR,SEM and XRD,and the adsorption performance of the absorbent to Cu2+,Zn2+,Cd2+,Cr2O72- and the adsorption properties to remove dyes from stimulated waste water containing Direct Fast Blue GL were studied.The experimental result indicated that the grafting polymerization reaction had occurred,and the result tally to the expectation.We concluded the optimum condition as follow by taking the orthogonal experiments to optimization synthesis condition: initiator density was 3.2×10-2mol/L,reaction time was 5h,the reaction temperature was 60°C,the emulsifier accounts for the oil phase mass concentration was 6%,the oil-water ratio by volume was 1.2: 1 and AM: DMC was 1: 5. Using the product synthesized under this condition to treat the simulated waste water containing Cu2+,Zn2+,Cd2+,Cr2O72-,it was proved that the adsorption capacities were high , also the adsorption to Cu2+,Zn2+,Cd2+ conformed to the Langmuir equation.Because of its good adsorption selectivity to Cu2+ and Zn2+ in the Cu2+-Zn2+-Cd2+ three-yuan system,the absorbent has latent application prospect in the aspects of...
