With the development of industry, the demand of wear-resisting metal became big. At the same time it also set the new request to the wear-resisting metal performance. However, it was difficult for a kind of material to have high toughness and hardness on actual condition. The bimetal composite was used to produce the important spares that were tougher and wearable on the face of it than using pure material. So compounding casting was often used. This paper introduces to use compounding cast processes for making a kind of composite hammer, which was make up of high chrome cast iron and min-carbon steel, emphasized on discussing the various processing parameters to interfaces. At the same time, we found simple and high efficient bimetal compounding casting in actual manufacture, gained a set of great processing parameters.The hammers of crushing engine required high wear resistance and tough. The chosen outer-material , high chrome casting iron, had wear-base and high hardness carbide by controlling chemistry constitution and heat processing. Inner material chosed mid-carbon steel, different kinds of heat treats had a little effect on its properties. Using this two material to composite and great processing parameters, it could be metallurgy combine. We calculated the critical volume rates when the casting temperature of high chrome casting iron and middle carbon steel was known. Given the volume rates, we researched the relationship of high chrome casting iron' casting temperature and mid-carbon steel's predict temperature. Because of high chrome cast iron's low heat conductivity, it would be steeper temperature grads between the face and inner in the process of coagulation. To be avoiding heat stress, heat hardening included heat, doff disposal with austenitic temperature and cooling.From the research of microstructures, we concluded: overheat which releases from high chrome casting iron was given mid-carbon steel.
