Poly-lactic acid(PLA) is a macromolecule material that can be decomposed completely, which has excellent biological decomposability, mechanicalness, physical properties and biological compatibility. The producing of PLA is an effective method for protecting the environment from pollution of plastic materials and resolving the pinch of oil resource.Lactide is a semifinished product of synthesizing PLA from lactic acid. The operating costs and capabilities of PLA depended on the purity of lacticed. It is important to study the flow of continuous producing lactide from lactic acid. The continuous flow of producing lactide from lactic acid based on laboratory and some handbooks has been studied in this work. A semiplant was builded to confirm the feasibility of the flow.Four aspects may be given as follows:(1) Analysing the flows reported in literatures and introducing the flow adopted in this program in detail.(2) Studying the flow of continuous producing lactide from lactic acid.(3) Designing the absorption tower.(4) Evaluating the semiplant test.
