In lab-scale, the technology feasibility of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) sludge granulation in expanded granular sludge bed (EGSB) was studied, and the process conditions of SRB granular sludge formation and the technology characteristics of sulfates reduction in EGSB reactor were discussed with man-made acid mine drainage (AMD).Results indicated that:1. With activated sludge from sewage treatment plant as sludge source, 9.5gVSS/L sludge was inoculated in reactor. Under the condition of experimental temperature 30~35℃ and pH value 6.8~7.2, SRB granular sludge could be successfully cultivated in EGSB reactor by man-made AMD.
