| In the paper, glass fiber reinforced PA66 composites with excellent mechanical properties, stability, processability and glycol resistance for automobile cooling system had been prepared by twin-screw extrusion machine. The influence of materials, processes technics, additive agents, and screw assemble on the properties, including mechanical properties, thermal stability, glycol resistance, processability and crystal properties, was studied. Distribution of glass fiber in the composite and interface morphology of glass fiber and PA66 were investigated by optical microscope and scanning electronic microscope (SEM), respectively. The fracture mechanism of glycol to GF reinforced PA66 composite was discussed further.The results showed the synthetic mechanical properties were significantly improved with appropriate materials and process technics.
