Phase relations in the Cu-La-Sb ternary system at 693K have been investigated in this work. The crystal structures and magnetic properties of high-temperature DyAlSi and the compound Tb6FeSb2 have also been studied. The main contents were as follows:1 The isothermal section of Cu-La-Sb ternary system at 693KThe phase relationship in the Cu-La-Sb ternary system at 693K has been studied mainly by means of X-ray powder diffraction with the aid of differential thermal analysis and optical microscope. There are 17 three-phase regions, 33 two-phase regions and 17 single-phase regions in this ternary system at 693K.Two ternary compounds CuLaSb2 and Cu3La3Sb4 were found.2 Crystal structure and magnetic properties of two new compoundsThe crystal structure of the high-temperature DyAISi has been studied by X-ray powder diffraction technique and refined by Rietveld profile fitting method. The compound has a tetragonal space group I41/amd (No. 141) with the lattice parameters a=0.41254(5)nm, c=1.44079(3)nm,Z=4. Dcalc=5.891g/cm3 and α-ThSi2 structure type. The Rietveld refinement result was Rp=10.6% and Rwp=13.5%. The compound showed paramagnetic behavior in the measured temperature range from 85K to 230K. The...
