In recent years, as the supply of hot water is more and more important, the need of heat pump water- heater is also more and more urgent. The traditional heat pump water-heaters adopt Freon as refrigerant, which can pollute the environment. The CO2 refrigerant is one of better choices, which match the economy energy idea and also meeting the environmental protection request. The CO2 trans-critical cycle is main research object in this paper. This paper has established steady-state simulation model of each component of CO2-heat pump water heater. Considering the variations of physical properties around critical point and the special properties of CO2, this paper has established steady-state distributed-parameter model for gas cooler and inner heat exchanger. This model has been used to compute the heat exchange and the temperature distributing of refrigerant and water in gas cooler, and analyze the influence of water inlet temperature and refrigerant flow etc on the heat exchange and the temperature distributing of refrigerant and water. This paper has established a steady-state model of CO2 trans-critical heat pump system which based on CO2 trans-critical heat pump system component models. This paper has predicted the performance of CO2 trans-critical heat pump system through computer simulation, which can be used to provide a basis for design and manipulation of the system and its components. This paper verifies that the floating clapboard water tank system performs better than the traditional water tank system. Finally, this paper has made experiment study on hot water loop simply which verifies the feasibility of the floating clapboard water tank.
