With development of computer science and network communication and other technology. It is an effective approach to combine traditional fault diagnosis system with network technology and computer science, it greatly changes the structure of fault diagnosis and makes up for the limitation of traditional system. Mine hoist is very important in mining industry, and its fault would result severe accident. But mining technology dropped far behind. So the remote monitoring system and faults diagnosis system is put forword.The paper put forward an Internet-based condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system. On the base of reviewing the development process of the remote monitoring system and faults diagnosis, this paper first introduced the consititute of mine hoist and the structures of the system realization on the network. This paper discussed the academic basis and realization technology of remote fault diagnosis base on Internet, it emphasized on system structure design and system software design.This paper also introduces the data acquisition and processing based on DSP of remote fault diagnosis system for mine hoist. The result proved this system of data acquisition and processing can measure up the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system.Finally, on the basis of the summarization of the research work in this paper, further research and investigation were discussed.
