At present, microbial flocculants that have flocculating activity are generally biodegraded readily and harmless to the environment and human beings, so bio-flocculants are attracting wide interest and urgently called for. Now bio-flocculants became more and more important in sewage-disposing. However, because of their higher cost and relatively lower output, they are hard to be put into industrialized and commercialized production. So many research works focus on the screening of flocculants and the research of Culturing. Nowadays, many of the flocculants use the single strain to dispose wastewater. This study focus on complex bio-flocculants that were cultured by wastewater and used to dispose wastewater by the strains they produce .This study used the food processing wastewater to culture the mixed strains so as to induce the cost.Strains which were protected in the lab were mixed each other and the mixed strains of F14, F15, H8, H9, H10 were screened.Complex strain F14 was screened and the optimum culture conditions were found when the COD of the waste water was 3018mg/L, nitrogen origin was ammonium sulfate, the medium initial pH was 6.0 and relative inoculation was 10%. At this time the flocculating rate was 87.1%; Complex strain F15 was screened and the optimum culture conditions were found when the COD of the waste water was 3018mg/L, nitrogen origin was ammonium sulfate, the medium initial pH was 6.0 and...
